Ripple Ice Minnow

The Ripple Ice Minnow is a classic fly with modern materials and it just doesn't get more simple than this effective pattern.  The fly is tied on a Partridge of Redditch Attitude Extra 2/0 hook and features Ripple Ice Fiber from Hareline Dubbin.  The synthetic material does not hold water but moves like bucktail in the current and maintains a nice profile without collapsing.  The slight ripples in the material create a shimmer in the water that will definitely trigger a reaction from a predator.
